Who can join?

If you hold an associate’s or equivalent, bachelor’s, or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, you can join AAUW as an individual (member-at-large) and as a member of one of AAUW’s 1,300 branches, including 48 branches in Ohio.

If you are an undergraduate in a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution, you can join as a student affiliate of a branch or a student-affiliate-at-large.

Qualified institutions are educational institutions that offer recognized associate, baccalaureate, or higher degrees and that have full regional accreditation (including two-year or community colleges) or appropriate professional association approval.

AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.

How to join AAUW Ohio

AAUW Ohio dues are $11 per year. National AAUW dues are $49 per year. Contact your local branch for details about individual branch dues.

AAUW Branch Membership

Join one of more than 1,300 AAUW branches in every state across the country–even workplace, campus and on-line branches. These include 50 branches in Ohio.

Find the Ohio branch nearest you and learn more about branch membership. Branch membership dues are established by each branch.

AAUW National Membership

Join AAUW as a National member and share in the commitment to speak out on vital social, economic and political issues: Education. Civil Rights. Affirmative action. Reproductive choice. Sex discrimination. Annual dues are $49. Become an AAUW Ohio member for an additional $11 in dues.

AAUW Student Affiliate

If you are an undergraduate working towards an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, you can get involved on your campus and in your community by becoming an AAUW student affiliate. Annual dues are $17. AAUW College/University Partnership Membership

Your college or university may become an institutional member of AAUW, placing it among the pioneers in educational equity and making it a partner with AAUW. Become an AAUW College/University Partner.

Give a grad a gift — free!

AAUW members can now give a recent grad—a friend, daughter, granddaughter, or niece—a free one-year AAUW membership. At no cost to you or her!

Your grad will receive a one-year member-at-large membership—a $49 value. She can join a branch at any time, but you or she will be responsible for paying branch and state dues. AAUW Ohio dues are $11 per year. Complete the free online membership application now!

Renew your AAUW membership now

Renew your AAUW National, Student Affiliate, or College/University Partner Membership now. Annual dues are $49 for National members and $17 for Student Affiliates. If you are an AAUW National member, you can become an AAUW Ohio member for an additional $11 in dues. If you are a Student Affiliate member, you can become an AAUW Ohio member at no additional cost.

To renew your branch membership, contact your local branch or see if your branch is participating in a pilot program that allows you to pay your branch dues online. Branch membership dues are established by each branch.
