The reason is simple. You can go to their website and apply to many women scholarships through one application. It doesn't get any better then that girls. I was a single mom looking for a mother scholarship and I applied for a <a href="http://momscholarships.us/mothers-scholarships/unique-aauw-scholarship-for-moms/189/" rel="nofollow">AAUW scholarship</a> and got two. Did it pay for all my college - NO - but paid for 50% of it and grants took care of the rest. Not bad I'd say.
