Save April 5-7 for AAUW Equity Day & Convention 2013

Save the dates for the AAUW Ohio Equity Day and Convention 2013: An AAUW Tapestry: Weaving the Threads of Engagement, Enrichment and Empowerment, which will be held April 5-7 at the Newark Metropolitan Hotel in Newark.
AAUW activist Holly Kearl, author of “Stop Street Harassment,” will be a keynote speaker.
Tremendous topics are planned for this convention. Speakers on Saturday and Sunday will weave an empowering tapestry with topics such as:
- harassment
- mentoring women and equity in the workplace
- domestic violence
- AAUW Ohio’s new Tech Trek program
- human trafficking
- public policy
- women and media
- and regional interests.
