The Republican and Democratic presidential nominating conventions are just around the corner, and AAUW Public Policy and Government Relations Director Lisa Maatz will represent AAUW in both Tampa and Charlotte, respectively.
This is a great time for AAUW’s top lobbyist to push AAUW’s policy agenda, talk to party power brokers, and raise awareness about AAUW Action Fund’s nationwide nonpartisan voter education and turnout campaign, It’s My Vote: I Will be Heard.
Lisa will be in the convention hall, talking with delegates and other advocates, live-tweeting the high-profile convention speeches (follow her @LisaMaatz), and posting updates to AAUW’s blog, AAUW Dialog. The Republican Convention starts Monday, Aug. 27, so stay tuned for updates!
