Free forum on trafficking March 26

Heights-Hillcrest-Lyndhurst Branch is holding a free forum on “Human Trafficking—for Labor or Sex” on Saturday, March 26, from 1- 3 p.m. at the International Women’s Air and Space Museum at the Burke Lakefront Airport Terminal.

Participants will:

  • Learn about trafficking in Ohio and groups advocating for prevention and elimination
  • Identify victims of trafficking—their ages, trades, backgrounds
  • Find out how Cleveland responds to Ohio’s law and learn whether it is easier now to prosecute traffickers.

Forum speakers represent:

  • Sex Crimes Unit, Cleveland Division of Police
  • Rape Crisis Center
  • FBI
  • Collaborative Initiative to End Human Trafficking
  • US Attorney’s Office
