Daffodil Diversity Awards at Convention
Daffodil Diversity Award Recognition will be given at the AAUW Ohio’s Annual Equity Day and Convention, April 9-10 in Akron to branches that are making strides to be inclusive and diverse in their membership outreach and community involvemen.
Criteria for the award will include the Diversity Goals for branches. Branches must meet at least three of the goals.
To apply for recognition, branches must send a written statement of their accomplishments with documentation to the Ohio Diversity Chair, Sally Dye, at sally.dye@cardingtonschools.org.
Statements should include branch name, name and signature of president, telephone number, e-mail for contact and name of diversity chair. material must be received before March 11, 2011.
Press clippings, news articles in branch publications, listings from branch yearbook, photographs from events or meetings shall constitute documentation.

In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.
