Congratulations everyone!
Senate Bill 235 passed unanimously through both the Senate and House of Representatives. Now all that is needed for this crucial bill to become law is the signature of Governor Strickland.
Thank you all so much for advocating and for your support throughout this long journey to end human trafficking in Ohio . Though there is still much work that needs to be done, this bill is the foundation on which we can continue to build up a society free of slavery.
I will keep you all informed of any news from the Governor on when he will be signing the bill into law. Again, I cannot begin to explain my gratitude toward you for all of your hard work.
