Fedor to be on the line for trafficking conference call Sept. 18
Senator Teresa Fedor will participate in a conference call about trafficking with interested branch members on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 11 a.m.
Public Policy Chair Jackie Evangelista is coordinating the event, which she announced in her recent Public Policy E-Newsletter.
“I would like to underscore that interest in reducing trafficking is an issue that cuts across all lines—political party, age, religious, and class–and could help you achieve visibility with a more diverse audience should you decide to sponsor community programs on the topic,” she wrote in an e-mail to Public Policy Chairs.
“Also, the actions required to make an impact are not hugely time-consuming. This conference call will give you the information you need to proceed.”
Evangelista wrote, “If you were not able to attend Leadership Workshop 2010, this event will allow you — from the comfort of your own home — to find out more about a serious blot on Ohio ’s reputation that we can play a role in erasing.”
