My husband is a PBS addict. Lucky me.
If it weren’t for him, I would have missed seeing Greg Mortenson, best-selling author of Three Cups of Tea and Stones Into Schools on “Bill Moyers’ Journal” last weekend.
I was on my way through the living room when the show began. Thanks to Diane Regan, AAUW Ohio president, who sent me a heads-up about Mortenson’s appearance on the show last week, I knew I was in for something good. So I sat down to watch.
I was not disappointed. Mortenson is a gentle and inspiring man who continues to do much good work for women and girls as an advocate for peace through education. No wonder he is an AAUW member.
