Not Yet Rain film shown in Centerville, Cincinnati

Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region will present Not Yet Rain, a short film by Lisa Russell produced in association with Ipas.

The film explores abortion in Ethiopia through the voices of women who have faced the challenge of finding safe care. Through their stories, we see the important role that safe abortion care plays in the overall health of women and their families.

Discussion will follow the film, moderated by Becki Brenner, CEO of Planned Parenthood’s Southwest Ohio Region. Wine, beverages and hors d’ourves will be provided.

The film will be held in two locations:

  • Jan. 20, 6-8 p.m., at the Marjorie and Oscar Boonshoft Center for Jewish Culture & Education, 525 Versailles Drive, Centerville.
  • Jan. 21, 6-8 p.m., at the Mayerson Jewish Community Center, Amberly Room, 8485 Ridge Road, Cincinnati.

Tickets are $25 and $10 for students.

RSVP online at www.ppswo.org. or contact the Planned Parenthood Southwest Region Development Office at 513-824-7808, 2314 Auburn Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45219
