Would you like to serve on the AAUW Nominating Committee that develops a slate of candidates for the AAUW Board of Directors? Now is your chance to apply, according to Carolyn Garfein, AAUW president.
AAUW’s Nominating Committee is developing a slate of candidates for the 2011-2013 board term. The application notice for appointment to the Nominating Committee is posted on the AAUW Web site, with a description of the qualifications for appointment and an application form.
This important committee plays a key organizational role in the nomination process. If you know of well qualified potential committee members, we urge you to recommend that they apply.
Applications will be accepted beginning immediately. Nominating Committee members should be announced before the end of January 2010.
