AAUW Ohio launches Membership Roundtables

Making Membership MeaningfulAAUW Ohio will hold a series of Membership Roundtable workshops across the state to help Ohio branches stabilize and grow their membership.

The first Membership Roundtable, scheduled for the Northwest District, will be held on Nov. 7, from 10 a.m.  to 1 p.m. at the Findlay Inn and Conference Center in Findlay. Get directions here.

Branch presidents, membership chairpersons and other interested members will have the opportunity to learn about and discuss successful strategies aimed at membership retention and growth at these Membership Roundtables, which will be scheduled around the state.

    I am gathering ideas for our local branch that has a real membership and programming crisis. We did present a round table discussion on a very small scale using The World Cafe. We did get some useful feedback from members on issue of mission, leadership, barriers to participation, and vision.
